Project B.A.K.E.
Strategic branding for a non-profit entity, Project Be A Kind Example (B.A.K.E.), that delivers cupcakes and kindness to underprivileged children in New York.
Project Be a Kind Example (B.A.K.E.), a newly formed non-profit entity in New York City had just begun delivering cupcakes to underprivileged kids in Harlem.
Their work was undeniably heartwarming but they were in need of a memorable brand to attract donors and support.
It was a delicious design opportunity we could not resist.
Like its beautiful mission, the visual expression had to be hopeful and inspiring.
Every week, a sweet, fluffy cupcake greeted each child accompanied by an engaging activity and story on kindness.
Project B.A.K.E. also began writing their own stories to be recited during story-time. We stepped in to develop a system by pairing up with local artist Atreyee Ghosh, to ensure the stories would carry a rhythmic flow.
As the brand continues to inspire, we are committed to helping them grow as their needs change over the years.
“This is so beautiful and professionally done. I love the idea behind this and I know the kids are going to love it. You cannot go wrong with cupcakes to make a child happy. But cupcakes, packed in a beautiful box with personalized labels? That’s super!”
